Harshad does architectural paintings using water-colours but calls his works location sketches as they are imprints of the places he sees. Old buildings, temples, churches, bridges, streets with people and vehicles, trees and other landscape elements find space on his handmade paper. They carry a sense of warmth and familiarity. A subtle dash of brilliant colours bring alive, the paintings, the spaces they are housed in and the viewers too.
