Rachana is a keen observer of human behavioral patterns and through her canvasses gives viewers a visual experience of her findings. Her portraits of people are intense and depict loneliness, doubt, resilience and hope too. In her Body Forth series she deals with the grim truth of displacement. The disturbing visuals of distressed people coax us out of our comfort zone. The trauma on canvas is for policy makers to take note of and hence fit, as cautionary note, into spaces where decisions concerning such matters are taken.
