Mokshita Tanwar

New Delhi

Artist majorly focuses on relationships, the presence of nature and our relationship with it. In particular,
it has been on the female form and its interaction with nature, how it is romanticized and the surface
beauty that is associated with both. In her works, the beauty lies more in what is hidden than what is
revealed. She believes, subconsciously, we always search for what isn’t there. It can be categorized as
an attempt to make motifs more alive than they really are. The nature’s view emerges as a means to
understand oneself, to learn and to find parallels.
